Focusing on the development of sustainable, organics and environmentally corrects ingredients, the company's technical team works next to the customers and adjusts constantly their line to the demands of the market.
Beraca through its Health & Personal Care division produces and distributes the Rain Forest Specialties® line, composed of fixed oils, essential oils, extracts, resins, clay, butters and other natural specialties from Brazil. The products, mainly coming from the Amazon are refined at the company's subsidiary in Ananindeua, located in the metropolitan region of Belém, state of Pará.
Beraca is the only Brazilian producer of raw material with its focus on products to the cosmetic industry that owns a factory in the region. Besides, the research and development of its products are carried out in partnership with universities located in the region. This differential ensures that the traditional knowledge of the Amazon people is taken into consideration in the solutions, respecting the local and federal laws on access to the biodiversity and the distribution of benefits.
The company also produces the Active Performance System line, natural products with blended actives for specific applications such as Anti-Acne, Anti-Dandruff and Revitalization Systems. Also, the company has included in its production, the use of the vegetable mass left from the oils extraction to produce the BioScrubs line, composed of natural exfoliate agents.
Beraca also distributes in Brazil products of multinational companies such as Henry Lamotte.
Assurance of quality and traceability
One of the major difficulties in the market of natural and organic ingredients is the maintenance of the products original characteristics. This is due to the difficulty of the products extraction, the logistical challenges of the region and the communities´ commitment.
Beraca has processes and procedures that trace the raw material from the time it is collected until the delivery to the customer. Traceability is essential to assure the customer the same color, aroma, smell, texture and others essential aspects, so that the characteristics and quality of the client´s final product can remain always the same.
This knowledges and technologies have granted Beraca international recognization for its products quality. In addition, the constant work of the development team, in parternship with the customers team, ensures the creation of innovative and high performance products and the credibility in the whole social and environmental chain.
