The Beraca Name

With an entrepreneurial and visionary spirit, brothers Marco Antonio and Ulisses Sabará inherited the chlorine supply business from their father already as a large corporation with a focus on sustainable development.

The group trajectory have seen moments of great success and overcame various challenges. In moments of great effort, the brothers were inspired by a Biblical passage that was set in the Beraca Valley, in the Middle East, where King Josafat met his army to thank God for the victory obtained against their enemies, naming the place Berakah, or "blessing" in Hebrew.

This important and historic victory inspired the entrepreneurs to name one of the companies from the Sabará group as Beraca Ingredients. In 2002, all businesses were incorporated into one group, which became Beraca Sabará.

In 2008, with a new market positioning, the group took the Beraca name for all of its businesses.
